The 500 Owners Association caters for period cars of 500 cc Formula 3 and organises a series of Circuit Races.

As well as our own Circuit Championship, 500cc Formula 3 cars are eligible for the Formula Junior Championship organised by the FJHRA and 750 Trophy run by the 750 Motor Club.

Classes & Points

Class A: 1945 – 1949 Examples: Cooper Mk II & III, Squanderbug
Class B: 1950 – 1953 Examples: Cooper Mk IV-VII, Kieft, Comet, Martin, Mackson, JBS, Trenberth
Class C: 1954 on Examples: Cooper Mk VIII on, Petty
Class D: Invitation Class V twin powered, DB Panhard etc. No points will be awarded for invitation cars.

Points: 10, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 within each class. 1 point for taking the start. Best 7 to count.
