Sven Andersson was responsible for the Swebe, which he built with Bengt Peterson in 1947. He won at Röforsloppet in August and Norlingsbergsbacken in September 1948. As the Swebe became steadily outclassed, he switched to a Cooper for 1955 and was still winning in 1958, in spite of his size, including a number of wins at the Roskildering in Denmark.
