Dick Hett

Dick was a regular competitor initially in his Emeryson but switched to a Cooper, presumably after damaging his car badly in an off at Paddock Hill Bend, Brands Hatch in July 1955. In the Cooper he finished second to Jack Moor at Mallory Park in May 1956, fifth in the First Final at Brands in July, won the Consolation Final at Mallory Park in August and third at Silverstone in the same month. In September, he managed fourth in the pump fuel class of the Commander Yorke Trophy.

For 1957, Dick achieved a fourth at Mallory in June and a second to Don Parker in August, sadly the remained of the season consisted largely of DNFs.
