Dennis Taylor

Dennis was born in Sidcup, South London in June 1921. He was a regular driver from 1952 through to 1954, initially in an Arnott and a JBS with some creditable placings. Through '53 his regular drive was a Martin in which he won his heat and the final at Castle Combe in April and came third later in the month. He won his heat at Brands in May and came third in the Open Challenge Final and the Coronation Trophy Dennis travelled to Pescara in August but failed to finish. In '54  he races a Staride finishing third at Ibsley in May. In 1959 he failed to qualify for the British Grand Prix in a Formula II Lotus. Dennis died at Monaco, in June 1962, after crashing in the Formula Junior race.
